Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the beige-ferret website and booking our travel experiences, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Description

beige-ferret provides guided travel experiences across Bristol and the South West of England. Our services include walking tours, cultural journeys, food trails, and custom private experiences as described on our website.

Booking and Payment

Booking Process

To book a tour, you must complete our booking form with accurate information including your name, email address, and preferred experience. Bookings are subject to availability.

Confirmation

We will confirm your booking via email within 24 hours. A contract between you and beige-ferret is formed once we send booking confirmation.

Payment Terms

Payment is due 48 hours before your scheduled tour date unless otherwise agreed. We accept payment by bank transfer, credit card, or debit card. Payment instructions will be provided in your confirmation email.

Pricing

All prices are stated in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices may change without notice, but confirmed bookings are honoured at the price stated in your confirmation email.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation by Customer

You may cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour will not be refunded unless exceptional circumstances apply.

Cancellation by beige-ferret

We reserve the right to cancel tours due to severe weather conditions, insufficient bookings, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive either:

• A full refund, or
• The option to reschedule to an alternative date

No-Show Policy

If you fail to arrive at the meeting point within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time without prior notice, this will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be provided.

Tour Participation

Health and Safety

You are responsible for ensuring you are physically capable of participating in your chosen tour. Most tours involve moderate walking. If you have any health concerns or mobility limitations, please inform us when booking so we can discuss suitable arrangements.

Minimum Age

Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Some tours may have specific age restrictions which will be communicated during booking.

Behaviour

We expect all participants to behave respectfully towards guides, other participants, and members of the public. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate or disruptive, without refund.

Following Guide Instructions

For your safety, you must follow all instructions given by your guide. beige-ferret is not liable for injuries or losses resulting from failure to follow guide instructions.

Liability and Insurance

Our Liability

We maintain appropriate public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to direct losses caused by our negligence or breach of contract. We are not liable for:

• Loss or damage to personal property
• Indirect or consequential losses
• Events beyond our reasonable control
• Third-party actions or services

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for your personal belongings throughout the tour. We recommend appropriate travel insurance to cover personal injury, loss, or damage to property.

Maximum Liability

Our maximum liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the relevant booking.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of beige-ferret or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view and print content for personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Photography and Media

During tours, our guides or other participants may take photographs or videos. By participating in a tour, you consent to being photographed or filmed and to beige-ferret using such media for promotional purposes.

If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.
